I began working at Naples Christian Academy six years as a part-time preschool teacher when my son was in PreK-4 at Naples Christian Academy. Shortly thereafter, I began running the tour program at NCA and serving as the Director of Admissions.
I'm a product of Christian education; I'm passionate about immersing the truth of scripture into every part of my days at Naples Christian Academy.
My family life and my work intersect -- they're inextricably linked. It's what I love about serving at NCA. I've gotten to help build the school, watch it grow, and serve as a leader. I get to know every family who darkens our door. And, I get to build relationships within our biblical community. Some of my very best friends work at school and/or partner with the school in the education of their children. It's purposeful, fruitful, and eternal work.
Admissions at NCA
I have a deep love for Naples Christian Academy. I'm passionate about NCA and our mission of partnering with committed Christian parents in the education of their children. I love that NCA provides a Christ-centered environment -- one that is academically challenging and nurturing. I see the impact NCA has on my own children; I've watched them grow spiritually and academically during their years at the school. I've had a front-row view as the NCA story unfolds -- it's one of God's miraculous provision, mercy, and grace.
I also love meeting and engaging with new people. I love getting to know their family and what they're looking for in terms of an educational partner. I love sharing my passion for Christian education and Naples Christian Academy with the people meet. I get to have meaningful conversations as a part of my work, which is so exciting.
How Do Admissions and the Gospel of Jesus Christ Intersect?
In my work as Director of Admissions at NCA, I'm helping further the gospel of Jesus Christ. I get to share my passion for Christian education and give others a glimpse of the unique work we're doing here at NCA. As I walk alongside parents who join our school, I get to watch their children grow in the knowledge of Jesus Christ and their love for our Great God. Admissions, then, is centered on the gospel of Jesus. It is eternal, kingdom-building work. I have the privilege of introducing committed Christian families to our school and witnessing their passion for Christian education grow.
Together - with the local church - we're raising up children in the way they should go, prayerfully asking God to send them out to build His Kingdom and share the good news of Jesus with those who don't yet know Him.
What better pursuit is there on this earth than that?
